Could anyone share the approximate time it should take to install a new engine and transmission in a 1975/6 MGB given that the original engine and trans has already been removed?

Hi John, glad we got your log-in issue resolved. For asking marque-specific questions, you will want to post a topic in the relevant forum - in this case you will want to post this question in our "MG" forum. This "New Member Introductions" forum is just for you to introduce yourself to the group - tel us about yourself, your cars, etc. (Note that some forums, like MG, as you to select a "Prefix" for your new topic)

4 of us did an engine/transmission swap in about 10 hours, one out another in. We did have a car lift and engine hoist but were all Triumph guys so unfamiliar with the MGB.

Lift the rear wheels to ease the installation of the combined engine /transmission.
