Hello Everyone,

I've owned my 1952 MGTD for 26 years. It got a lot of usage when the grandkids were young. Until recently it had begun it's slow decline. Now that I'm retired I'm working on getting it back into good running order.

My wife and I live in Lucas, TX, a very small suburb of Dallas. My former next door neighbor, George M., had an MG shop in his back yard. I told him I had always admired the MG T's so he kept and eye out for a good deal for me. He soon connected me with a friend of his who sold his car to me.

I'm a DIY'er with more desire than expertise so I'm sure I'll be searching the forums for many "How I did it threads".

Looking forward to getting to know many of you.

Regards,
David

Hi David - welcome to BCF. I'm a former Fort Worthian, now caring for my '53 TD here in Connecticut.

You are a lucky man to have had an MG specialist next door!

My TD was a single owner 1953 - 2017; I bought it from the first owner's widow. Original paint, original brightwork, weather gear, engine, even the original kangaroo hide seats. Amazing.

Good to have you with us.

Welcome to the forum, David! You certainly live in the right town, "Lucas", to be a little British car fan!
