The red Armacord covering the battery cover (behind the seats) in my 2-seater BN6 is faded. Has anyone found a way to re-dye it or refinish it?

By the way...is Armacord the same thing as Hardura???

Thanks!

I've had good luck refinishing vinyl with SEM color coat: https://www.66autocolor.com/SEM-Color-Coat-Interior-Paint-p/sem-15.htm See if there is a red in their chips that looks good to you and give it a test. It's usually available at local auto body supply stores. Hardura is the flat finish material with embossed graining while Armacord is similar, but with ribs like corduroy.
