I'm in Monterey now and checked out the 007 car yesterday. Gorgeous. Also announced yesterday was the upcoming sale at Mecum Kissimmee of the original "Bullitt" Mustang. Never thought I'd get so close to my two favorite movie cars. (The arrow shows me!)

I'd have to drive it like I stole it because that's what it would take.

I saw one of the Bond cars at a Salt Lake show back in the 80's. Don't recall which one it was.

I was also in Monterey this week. I saw the Bullet car and the Bond car. We sat and watched the auctioning Thursday morning. I would have to say that they don't spend a lot of time on the lessor cars. I also wonder why they would bother to auction a 1972 Pinto.
I did have fun at the two car shows we took our car. The little car show in Pacific Grove gave us two trophies. Nice cars there and most of them are drivers.
