Unlikely car to see parked in an Ice cream store parking lot. Pristine (aren't they all) Mercedes Benz 300 SL roadster. Stopped at "The Creamery" on Rt9 in Cummington Ma. My all time #1 dream car.

Thank goodness the MG is finally gone, replaced by another Corvette
That car is a sight to behold!
Closest I ever got was owning a 1958 M-B 220S - but it served its purpose.

Next? who the heck knows!
When I was having my 54 XK120 painted somewhere around 1980-ish, there was a 300SL Gullwing sitting in the stall right next to my Jag. The story I was told was that it belonged to a Colonel on the base and it had stolen years before, but recently recovered. It was, unfortunately, in need of a complete restoration as whoever stole it trashed it.
It looks better than it drives. Swing axles. You haven't lived until you've done a 270 on a traffic circle near Route 128 in Boston. At 40-45 mph.
