Work progresses on my Friend's TR2 renovation. The frame has been stripped and now has a first coat of primer as I do a couple repairs, before paint. On each side there is an angled piece of square tube, running up and forward from the top of the frame rail to the upper coil spring mount. Each has 2 holes in the top side with nuts welded in the tube for body mount bolts. One of these had broken loose, and as I'm in the habit of chasing the threads on all re-used fasteners I was surprised to find this is a 3/8-24 nut. On a British car from the mid-50's. Are all the nuts and bolts SAE on these cars/
