I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and memories. She IS one special lady that I had the honor of sharing the past 40 years with. I have an empty hole in my soul that will never be filled. She was the best part of me. There is not going to be a formal service as that was her wish. Sometime in June we will be planning a remberance of her at the house. The address is 4 Santos Ct. Tijeras, NM. No flowers but Judy’s favorite charity was Watermelon Mountain Ranch here in Albuquerque. It is a no kill animal shelter.
I had the opportunity yesterday to say goodbye to Judy and give her one last kiss. Don’t know how I will continue but I know Judy wouldn’t want it any other way. Cell number. 5052202839. For Judy I want to say thanks, goodbye and hope to be together down the road.

I wish I had some magic words that would make things easier, but the best I can do is to remember Judy for being a great lady whose friendship Mary and I will always cherish. Sitting here thinking about Judy and I realized she first joined the forum way back in 2002 when the BCF wasn't even yet 2 years old! Man, it doesn't seem that long ago! I recall her first post was to ask the group if anyone knew of any good restoration places suitable for restoring an Austin Healey. At the time I don't think she had her location listed in her profile, so I had no idea where she was. I remember replying that "if you could get you car to New Mexico...there's this guy..." That's when I learned that, not only was she in New Mexico, but she lived only a couple miles from us! That's when a great friendship with Judy and Doug began. Those fun get togethers at her house and the Saturday drive up to Sandia Crest were amazing. Those gatherings at the house saw an amazing number of little British cars and an opportunity to meeet lots of great people. Judy will forever remain in our hearts.

The donation to watermelon mountain ranch in her name has been set up. There website is wmranch.org. The family would like to see them get blown away by the outpouring of care from all her friends so they will realize the special lady she was and still is in spirit.

It has been a couple of weeks but the hurt is still there. I miss Judy with all my heart. She left too soon.

Three weeks have past. Every day gets worse. I miss Judy’s smile and look in her eyes. Things are piling up at home and nothing is going right. Future looks bleak and getting worse

You are not alone Doug. There are support groups out there. Many others have faced and are facing the same grief as you.

Judy has been interned today. And a part of her is finally home. All her chores are now done and she can now rest. The only things she has left to do is greet me with open arms and again say I love you when my time comes. She has earned a peaceful rest. Goodbye for now Judy. See you soon.
