Advice please on 1930's? steering wheel and rack

    Hello
Ive come here in the hope that someone can identify what car this steering wheel, column and box is off. The box is marked 'Bishop Gear patent 223863'. I think that dates it to around the 1930's. Apparently it was used on Morris, MG? and another British car not sure which one. As you can probably tell Im not a car buff as such so I am struggling. I bought it as a bit of a punt. Ive done various google searches to try and identify the steering wheel but to no avail. The centre of the steering wheel is bakelite.

I'm afraid I can't help you with the steering wheel, but I have to comment on and ask about your forum name. Love it; are you perhaps related to Mr. Dickens? Sounds like a character name he'd have come up with!

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Its just word I picked up from someone years ago and I found it amusing. He used it in the context of 'chocolate wizwag'. I'll let you use your imagination to work out what that is.
