Thread: Chance at a historic Sprite!

Discuss the Austin Healey Sprite and the MG Midget. Two different but similar cars sometimes referred to collectively as the Spridget.

My guess is the reserve on this car is around $150k. These aluminum-bodied works Sprites are much rarer than a 100S and their values are starting to reflect that.

More than a 100S?!!!! That would surprise me (though this present car is surely rarer). I'd take the S any day.

[EDIT: Oh, wait, you didn't mean more "valuable" but just more rare. ]

My favorites were the last works Sprite's....the ones they got up to 147MPH on the Mulsan straight at Leman's. For what they were these little cars have done amazing things.

Think of all the "regular" Sprites you could buy for 165k. At least one for each day of the week, and then some.
