What is the modern-looking roadster in the third picture? A late-model MG perhaps?

That's a modern MG. Good cars, mid-engined and lots of fun... Early versions had issues with head gaskets, if I recall correctly, but modern gasket replacements seem to have sorted that problem. Old enough to be imported to the USA now.

yes, a MGTF 160, 2002, 1.8 with 160 HP. very good balanced car on street, you have to look carefully after the engine! ( can overheat....)
