Hi all, I did a frame-off restoration of a 1958 MGA about 8 years ago. Everything came off the car and I striped it down to bare metal. I did some body work, made a paint booth and repainted the car, put new leather seats in, new wood floor, rechromed a bunch and put it all back together. I've put about 20,000 miles on it since. If you're interested in seeing the process, you can go to my website, https://www.harleythermal.com/cars/restoration/restoration.htm. I'm in the process of a frame-off restoration of a 1958 190sl Mercedes, a much bigger job. If you're interested in seeing this progress, here is a link to it, https://www.harleythermal.com/190Restoration1.php.

Welcome to the fun Dave! You will be right at home and sounds like you're the kind of guy who can offer lots of useful help to other members, especially the MGA owners here! Be sure and pop in at the MG forum here too and say hello.
