I thought that you might be interested in seeing either or both of these auction items:
1968 XKE Roadster, 4.3, Series 1.5, manual transmission. Only 60K original miles and 3 owners. I have the Heritage Certificate. Many, many extra parts, including all chrome, rotors, and calipers.
On its release in March 1961 Enzo Ferrari called it "the most beautiful car ever made". In 2004, Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s. In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in The Daily Telegraph online list of the world's "100 most beautiful cars" of all time.
This beauty has been in storage for many years. It runs (see video on auction site), now it needs a tune-up, rear brakes (new front brakes just finished), paint and upholstery to make it perfect.
This prime collector's car is being sold in January at auction with a minimum reserve bid of $40,000.
