    Car Timeline

I did this on another general car forum/blog place where I participate, was kind of fun to create and reflect, anyone else want to share? Marv G. I don't think we have enough banwidth (lol).

    Re: Car Timeline

That is a well rounded group of cars, if my stable were bigger I wouldn't mind having a big American boat (like 60s Caddy or Mopar) to cruise around in, but I don't know if I could ever restore one. Awful lot of real estate to cover with the interior and the bodywork.

    Re: Car Timeline

The biggest hurdle so far in the Caddy restoration has been the interior and how complicated some of the under dash stuff is, like the automatic climate control, the automatic lights, the self dimming lights, etc.

My friend has a '63 Convertible, they are a lot more complicated than an old Triumph or MG

You can say that again. Just trying to figure out the vacuum diagram is a pain in the rear.

I put this together a while ago when I still had a website. I'm in deep I guess.

"One old car at a time is my limit." <snork> (I'm not addicted, I could quit tomorrow.

In other news did I ever tell you we have 2 1/2 Trail 90's in the garage? (OK technically a CT90 and a CT110 - before the "Trail" addition - not mine, my daughter's)

    Re: Car Timeline

Drew, I grew up with a love of old Gooses, my dad owned two of them when I was a kid, a 68 Ambassador and a 73 Eldorado. I learned to ride on the Eldo and I love it when I see someone riding one, which around here is really a rarity.

Drew, my 67 BGT started out the same color, two tone yellow and "iron oxide" color on the bottom. Had it been a roadster it surely would have collapsed on itself.
