Today while collecting a BN4 transmission with OD and some old Trippe lights, the guy through in a box of gauges and in them was this 100-6 button, which may be from a non-adjustable wheel horn push? No idea so appreciate your help. F6442B88-6A74-4AA5-BFA2-7261BFE6FF63.jpg

As Derek correctly states, non-adjustable column horn button. It looks nicer than mine, if you don't have other plans for it...

My 1958 100/6 BN6 has the same horn push and the centre is painted the same colour as the body work.

That's a neat approach, but yours is the adjustable column's smaller button, rather than the one seen in the 1st post, or on my car.

Using an aftermarket steering wheel hub practically renders the adjustable column non-adjustable__at least making it limited to breaking out a wrench to reposition the wheel, unlike the stock column/hub arrangement that can be moved in or out while on the fly.

My hub lets me adjust the wheel without a wrench, but not while driving. :rolleye:

That is interesting- first I have ever seen it the same as the body color. I wonder if that was done by a restorer or if they played with the idea as an option?

I don't know it was like that when I bought the car, according to the paperwork it was restored a long time ago in the US so maybe someone was experimenting at the time, I must admit I thought it was normal and didn't realise until I looked closer.
