Drivibng down a backroad,after trying to find a 240Z that
I heard was for sale,spotted a forlorn Scorpio sitting in someone's
side yard.
I restrained myself,& kept driving on.....

I worked on one Merkur long ago. Didn't they have Honda drivestrains?

TOC, I am guessing you are thinking of the Sterling, made in England with a Honda, Acura I think, drivetrain. The Merkurs were German Ford.

I remember Sterling as separate from Merkur. Something about the Merkur....was someone else's drivetrain.
