1966 Austin Healey Sprite - $6,500
This car is a 20+ years barn find, it has been stored since 1989. I have a clean title in my name. This car can be driven home and has passed inspection (2/2018).
Body:
The body of the car is in fair shape there are chinks in the body paint, a few dings in the bumpers and the left (passenger side) floor pan needs to be replaced. The hood has a small spots of rust and there are bubbles. As you can see from the photographs, the paint is peeling in spots.
The passenger side floor section had a hole, which has been repaired.
Electrical:
The taillight and license plate lights, fuse block are new replacements. All lights work
Engine & Brakes:
The engine is running and has been tuned. The carburetors have been rebuilt, radiator and cooling system have been serviced The wiring has been inspected any faulty wiring was replaced so the car can be safely driven. The brakes rotors, calipers, hoses, all have been replaced. The car has a new battery, spark plugs, distributer, and fuel pump. All old fuel has been purged and replaced. The front brake kit with pads, and rear wheel drums were also installed. There is also a new master cylinder and fuel lines and pedal rebuild. There is also a brand new exhaust manifold and exhaust pipes.
Interior:
All interior is as it was in 1968. The pedal arrangement has new rubber matting. The soft top is in great shape.
Exterior:
I also have a hard top from an MG that I've adapted for winter use its in good condition; it just needs resurfacing. The wheels and hubcaps are all original. All tires are brand new tires.
Many of the original options and extra accessories parts are missing when you come upon one of these jewels. This car comes with its original tonneau cover (the zippers need to be repaired, spring tensioned bows, bonnet badge, Tynide bag for which the supplementary tool kit came in, I also have a grill badge.
I am happy to take more pictures and the car is listed for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time.
The car is located in Woodbridge Virginia 22191. I am happy to work with U.S. or overseas shipping. I'll take cash, bank check, and if by PayPal the buyer pays the 4% fee.
