In cold and snowy Calgary... Last night, about -19 Celcius and light snow flurries... I spotted a Citroen 2CV downtown, I was rather surprised, pleasantly surprised... A couple of photos from very chilly Calgary, still chilly today and the rest of the week... It is winter after all...

When I was in Germany as a kid (Dad stationed there) we would see 2CVs all over the place. Cool little cars.

I got the story on this car from someone else, via an Instagram post... It does carry a UK registration, a guy who drove it to Canada, via China, I guess heading east across Europe and Asia...

Has maybe settled here for now? I did recently meet a lady with Toyota 4x4 with Spanish plates on it, as long as she is just working in Canada on a work permit she can keep those plates on it, without getting Alberta plates...
