Love them - there was one for sale around here a couple years ago - general consensus was that it was much more costly to restore than the car would be worth - so, be definition a labour of love.

I think those NOS hubcaps I have will fit it.
I could have them with me,& bring them to Billings,
if there's interest.

No interest in buying it, I already have an orphan 77 Lancia Beta. The Austin is much more appealing, if I didn't own the Lancia........ PM me when you get to Billings, we can find some coffee.

Was in Billings,but didn't have internet access,or your phone number.I did meet up with Jeff,
for breakfast,& then headed down the road.

I probably wouldn't have either but, therin the rub - they just aren't worth what people think - and one of those times where rarity (or even convertible) doesn't = value.

IMO, it depends on what's underneath and hidden. I does look pretty solid from what little I can see. If so a bargain at 900 or even a few time that. Certainly not a money maker but a rare cool car for the humble collector. Let us know if it comes up on craigslist or something.

That's pretty sweet. It would fit right in with my other orphans. I'd be interested if it comes up again, though not for much more than the $900. I've even got a spare Met engine (B-series 1500) that would drop right in.

I spotted a Hillman Husky estate (Mark I, the first series) down the street at an auto repair shop last week. Turns out it belongs to the shop owner, it was his dad's. He's thinking about restoring it, but I let him know that I would be interested if he changed his mind. Another quirky, not fast, not terribly collectible, not pretty car that just intrigues me.
