T-Series windscreen glass?

Would anyone know where I might find replacement windscreen glass for a 1950 TD?

No problem, as they are flat. Take an old one (or a tracing of one) to a glass shop and they can cut one for you. Be sure and get laminated.

Tom, My glass was cut at a local glass shop the same thickness as the original, came out perfect and only cost me $35.00. Use the original glass as a pattern if you have it. PJ

I do believe Doug also has replacement glass, but it may be cut for the later TD with the motor in the middle.

Now be careful about glass thickness. The newer glass is thinner (metric ) but you can still get the older Imperial (inch) thickness glass.
I did mine about 3 years ago. I say I did it, My daughters (then) boy friend used to work at an Auto Glass shop. He got the glass blank and cut it to size.
I installed in the the frame.

There is a caution on the screws holding the frame together. Be careful to note where they com from. There are some very short screws. They must go back where they came from or they could hit an crack the glass. If you purchase replacements they will be too long.
I used 10-32 SS. The 10 32 is very very close in dimensions and thread pitch to the UK 2BA. The older screws have a different taper and diameter on the heads also. I re-cut my SS screws to match the old ones.
I measured how deep and cut each screw to insure some clearance.

I also had an Issue with the replacement rubber packing. The stuff from Moss was OK. The packing from AS was a bit thick.
Also as you take it apart you will note some folded up packing used as spacers in some parts of the frame. Note where they were and How long and how thick they ar so you can replace them with new packing.

Finally
The wire for the Wiper Motor runs up the right channel. If its in good shape, just be careful. If its in poor shape consider replacing it. I got use a replacement from AS.
The wire is very light duty and can cause around a 1V drop going to the WW motor. It consists of two wires and a woven metal shield. I used both wires for the Negative voltage and the shield for the positive voltage (Positive ground car).
