I'm not a huge TV watcher and even less of a fan of all the detective type shows on the tube. Anyways, the better half was watching this British series on PBS and there are some spectacular old British cars on it. Yes there's a 100/4 with M modifications as well.

You'll love the Australian show, "A Place to call Home", Jags, MGs, an SS100, a right had drive Buick convertible, cars I don't even know and they are up to about 1955.
We view it on Xfinity, Image Entertainment either produces it or distributes it.

My wife and I are big British Mystery show fans along with many many other people we know. I agree with the cars shown. I was disappointed when Dr Blake got a new car. I liked his old one better.

Theres another show just started on PBS . Again its a British show set in the late 60s . Its called "call the midwife"
The debonair dentist in it has a very nice looking Healey blue over OEW Healey .

My wife and I are big British Mystery show fans along with many many other people we know. I agree with the cars shown. I was disappointed when Dr Blake got a new car. I liked his old one better.

Patrick, are you aware that The Dr Blake Mysteries is an Australian show?

Call the midwife starts in 1958 and I don't believe has got much past 1961 so far.

yes, I'm aware Dr Blake Mysteries is Australian as well as Miss Fisher. We watch them both.

Growing up in the mid sixties in the UK my brother and I came across a show called Homicide. The strange cars and detectives with hats led us to conclude that it was an obscure American series, it wasn't untill we emmigrated to Australia later that we realised it was an Aussie show (1964-1977).
We didn't think to check the credits in those days!
