Which Morgan cars have British designed and built engines?

Hello, please may i ask the following..
Which Morgan cars have British designed and built engines?
Also, Which Morgan cars that are in current production have British designed and built engines?

Please give any answer you have, regarding electric or internal_combustion_engine types.

I looked on their website, and i could find Morgans with BMW engines, or Ford engines, but could not
find the ones that have British designed and built engines.
I also wrote to Morgan about this, but have no reply.

The Ford Kent engine was British designed and built. That's usually the 1600 crossflow version.
The various Standard-Triumph engines in earlier post-war cars too, and later 4-cylinder Rover engines.
In pre-war years various twin and 4-cylinder British engines were used, like JAP and Coventry-Climax.
I don't think any current cars do.

I've seen Triumph TR3 and TR4 engines in Morgans and I've got a TR3/TR4 motor with what might be a Morgan VIN

Here is a Morgan just being finished a a local restoration shop. It has a Ford flathead (100E) motor.

THAT is interesting. Unless it's a RHD and the negative is flipped, something is amiss.
If US Ford, oh, A, B or even C, the inlet and exhaust is on the right side of the engine, not left...and the distributor is favoured to the right half of the cylinder head a bit.
The carburettor would be updraught...so maybe a Ford Industrial engine (saw on in a modified A 40 years ago)

Not sure what a 100E is...I'll look it up.

Left hand drive and no negative involved. I took the digital photo myself with my handy phone. I was particularly interested because that 100E engine (English not US) is the same one in my Prefect. Not my avatar for reference. Also it is about half the size of a US Ford flathead.

okay. Very familiar with US version (bigger and mirror image of that one). NOT very familiar with flathead Brit Ford Fours.

I do recall in Groton Connecticut in 1970 seeing an early MG (pre-war? twin spares stacked on the boot) with a Ford Flathead...but V-8 60.

That's interesting. I just saw a photo of a TD with a V8-60 in it yesterday. I think it was on Bring a Trailer maybe. Many years ago a had a 60 that I planned to put in my Prefect but changed my mind. I share shop space with a Ford Model A.
