Welcome aboard!

Most of the usual suppliers will ship to Canada, no fuss no muss. JP may have a bit more insight into this.

If you're new to this check out Victoria British, Moss Motors, AH Spares, British Parts Northwest...I'm sure other folks will chime in. VB and Moss will even send you their parts catalogs free of charge.

Welcome aboard indeed - I am in Toronto and indeed, all parts are available - sadly, we have to pay exchange. Here in Dundas, we have British Auto Sport - who sells Moss - I am sure he will ship to pretty much anywhere - PM me if you need information. Also, as mentioned, Moss and Victoria British ship to Canada - AND these days, ordering directly from Britain (AH spares and ebay) is reasonably cost effective and way way quicker! By the way, if you are ordering from anywhere out of country if at all possible get it sent by mail and not courier - then there is a chance you can get off having to pay tax and duty.

The good news is that these little cars are not super expensive to restore - and there is lots of help available. You are in the right place - and, these are very nice and helpful people!

Do you have the manuals you need? and of course the project doesn't exist without photos!

https://www.ahspares.co.uk/sprite/ and the other guys are good in that the web-sites can tell you if what you needs is available and the price. Ask them to indicate on the outside of the packaging that it's for a vintage car more than 50 years old as there's no duty then. Also postal out of the US is preferably as some of the couriers slap on a significant sum for crossing the border. And if you decide to drive out to Calgary in a pick up truck, I'd be more than happy to sell you pretty much everything you'd need (other than body bits) to build a car - but shipping would be a killer. And per JP: you need manuals first. Corrosion/body work is the deadly item, but pretty much all the sheet metal patches you need are available. If you feel wealthy, I believe you can buy an entire body from Jolly Olde. We gave a pretty solid BE body to a high school and they got rid of the rust etc., so have a look into that option if you've got a couple of years - most of the post high school technical schools aren't interested in anything too old as they're training chaps to go directly into the trade. Kind of like no mechanics fresh out of school know carbs and points, as there's no point. Have fun! Doug
