    Wow

I went out on this one at less than half the selling price. My sense of values seems to be a few years old.

It's a lovely, unrestored car with a lot of originality. 1959 and 1960 cars are commanding high prices now but I am a bit surprised about the $20k price. However, I am a bit out of touch with the current market.

Out of touch here too! Have seen pristine condition cars go for $25K, but this price is strange. Probably on a ship now.

I'm crazy out of touch! "Original" may be one thing, but surely it has some sort of provenance to command that price.

Price is a bit steep, but unrestored originality is now more desirable than a restored example it seems.

    Re: Wow

The -S price of $43k may sound high... but it is not out of line for what complete, original, un-restored, Mk1 -S sells for.
