1925 Rolls Phantom I "round door Rolls" in Petersen collection: what did it sell for?

See it here https://theoldmotor.com/?p=58822
This car was originally ordered by a Mrs. Dillman, who had been married to someone in the Dodge family in Detroit and Dillman was her second husband, said to be a "layabout" (love that word) who approved of her sending it back to have a custom body designed, great fastback with ornate round doors. The most beautiful part is three fitted luggage suitcases. She later sold it and it went downhill for a time. The Belgium firm of Jonckheere constructed its second coach work. It has been reported that in 1936 the creation won a Prix d’Honneur at the August, 1936 Cannes Concours d’Elegance in France
Anyhow my question is: when the car was being shown around at carnivals coast to coast, erroneously being touted as the Prince of Wales car, does anyone remember what it sold for? Also it apparently was on a used car lot in Florida, first put out front to attract customers but then too distracting and moved to the back row. Love to hear the price then.

I doubt if the Prince of Wales had anything to do with it but then he was a fashion leader (inventor I think of the Windsor knot) when he wasn't being disciplined by Wallace Simpson.

Also Mrs. Dillman lived in a mansion in Grosse Pointe. I wonder if it's the same one I went to back in the '60s to look at a Silver Wraith for $3,000 and I asked "whose house is this>" and they said the "Dodge family."

Amazing car. Magnificent to behold yet absurdly impractical. Nobody needs a car like it, but the world needs more cars like it.

I looks elegant in the pix and pretty big. But you don't realize how big it really is until you get near it. It's freakin' huge. Acres of black paint. Note that in the pix the bonnet appears to be about shoulder height. That's no illusion. Its really is.

Here are pix of it at the Petersen Museum from about ten years ago.

Coming some time later this spring, the Velocity Channel will have a new show called Competition Ready. Sponsored by online car wax supplier Autogeek, it will feature hosts Mike Phillips and Adrienne "AJ" Janic traveling around the country detailing out cars for shows/display. One of the shows will feature several cars from the Petersen Museum, including the Round Door Rolls.

This is a stunning vehicle in person. And it is still gigantic. We were awe struck by the rear overhang and how low it is. I don't know how you would traverse even the slightest incline without leaving a trail of paint and aluminum shavings. Imagine this roaring through a small mid-western town where the typical driver has only glimpsed over the hood of a Ford or John Deere. Glad it was saved.

They showed the Petersen Museum episode of Competition Ready last night. The Round Door Rolls was, of course, quite prominent.

Looks like they'll be showing it again tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM Pacific Time. Thank goodness for DVR's.
