I just discovered that the transmission case on my October 1958 TR3A has no TS number on it and that the boss for the clutch lever arm has 8 D 60 /. stamped on it (not sure about the /.) Obviously the case is 1960 so is not original to my October 1958 car. But the transmission case has worked fine for me for the last 30 years. My question is: what is the source of the transmisson case - factory rebuit or off another car which also used this type of transmisson case? I am confused because there is no TS number on it.
