TR6 Re: TR6 turn signal puzzle

Update: Yesterday the turn signals didn't work, the fuel, voltage and temp gauges quite working and I was thinking of ordering parts. This morning I started troubleshooting the fuse box. All I did...

TR6 Re: TR6 turn signal puzzle

No, I didn't, Since the turn signals don't work at all now and the turn signal relay and switch both look like the originals, it's probably time for some new parts.

TR6 Re: TR6 turn signal puzzle

I'll give that try Kevin; now neither side of the turn signals are working, but they all work with the hazard switch. Love these British cars.

TR6 Re: TR6 turn signal puzzle

    Randall:
I was thinking a poor connection in the switch, but I didn't know whether the lights would still light up. When it gets darker, I will check the turn signal lights and see if one side is...

General TR Re: Ethanol free gas

    Elliot:
I'm not surprised; I haven't put the ethanol-free gas in any of my cars. Years ago I took my TR3 to the VTR at Breckenridge. I had side-draft webers on it and took the leanest jets with me...

General TR Re: Ethanol free gas

I hadn't given it much thought until last year when I purchase a new zero-turn Toro lawn mower and the instructions said do not use gas with ethanol in it. It is more expensive here.
  10. TR6 Re: Turn signal lights don't flash when under load.

Thanks for the replies, Steve I did as you recommended and traced the voltage. The problem turned out to be the battery terminals needed cleaning. They looked good from the outside, but not so good...

Poolboy, I know what your saying, and I don't have an answer for you. The car does not lack power and I don't keep track of gas mileage. It came with the Stromberg's on it, which I don't like; so I...

TR6 Re: Carburetor issues at low rpms webers

Good question Poolboy, after looking at the distributor it is a retard module. Everything works good with this hookup, idles at about 750 RPM's. I should have taken a picture of the distributor. I...

TR6 Re: Clunking noise in rear continuing

You might want to check for play in your u-joints; since you said there was a small clunk when going forward or backward. Does it do it when you are making a turn?
