Re: Bugeye (style) gauges in a Box Sprite?

    Bill,
I think Speedhut and Autometer both make gps speedos with a face like that...I believe Jim Gruber is using one. They would look good to me in a box Sprite.

Re: Iíve lost my mind, or whatís left of it!

    Rick,
Thanks and the Caymans are a sweet ride...they are so neutral in their handling it’s very hard to mess up, way better than the 911s. I looked very hard at them and the are gorgeous, but the...

Re: Iíve lost my mind, or whatís left of it!

LBCs are in my blood and while it will be nice to have a sports car my wife will ride in, I will stay the course. The 911 is a car that I can change the oil on, but I’ve got a lot to learn about it....

Iíve lost my mind, or whatís left of it!

Got back from the hospital today after a little hip lubrication, back should be coming up pretty soon and Iím pretty loopy from the meds. Found out about a car being traded in on Monday, so I bought...
  6. MGB Re: Battery relocation ponderings and considerations (and ideas?)....

My 1970 might be different, but I installed the boxes from Clark and Clark and fit a battery in the passenger side. It’s tight, but I used a common size battery and it fit.

MGB Re: Running out of gas symptoms

I’ll check both the hard line and fuel pump for leaks, pressure and flow. Iirc, the fuel pump is a generic 2-4# variety that replaced the pump that was on the car when I bought it. Thanks for the...

MGB Running out of gas symptoms

    MGB Re: Engine build question

The engine sounds very similar to mine, but I have a VP12 cam and a Fidanza flywheel with a CR closer to 10 (was shooting for 9.5). Hap designed the build and I absolutely love the engine. I don’t...

Re: Bruce Uchida Front Tilting Bonnet, 2008

    Doug,
I just bought a sheet of HDPE 3/4” thick stock and cut it to length, height and sanded a little off so it would fit in the lip on the cowl. I think I bought a 1’x2’ piece if you want me to...

Welcome to the forum and Pale Primrose does have a touch of green in it. I had a very difficult time matching it on my 1970 MGB, but finally got a good scan at the body shop. I’ve attached a link...
