TR2/3/3A Re: Top web and fitting question

At the shop we cheat a little and put an electric heater in the car to warm up
the top while it is fitted up(sitting on a fire blanket of course). We also use seat
    belt material for the webbing....

TR2/3/3A Re: TR3A Fan Blade Conversion

I still prefer the tr7 fan. You simply cut off the old paddle blades and drill
holes in the stumps(after some prep work) bolt it on.Fits perfectly costs nearly nothing
    and solves all the cooling...

TR2/3/3A Re: 1960 tr 3a body panel allignment

The factory put in a lot of lead on the door post to achieve the desired fit.I suggest
that you start here and remove the excess(if present). If you have installed new inner
    sills and forgotten to...
  4. TR2/3/3A Re: anyone know what this valve is and where it goes on a TR3a?

You will likely find there are two as one leaks and the other is the replacement, which will leak too!

    TR4/4A Re: performance cam

The answer is it depends......on a screamer .015, for the street .012 is better. The racer needs
the oiling on the cam face at high speed and cares little for longevity. you should do well at .012....

    TR2/3/3A Re: Lightening a stock TR3A flywheel.....

The original tr2 flywheel tipped in at 23 lbs, the tr3 at 32 lbs .If you can lose
9 or 10 lbs it is nice. The tr2 unit had a lot of metal off the engine side and was a little
    weaker.I like the off...

    TR2/3/3A Re: tr3 inner sills

When doing this job bear in mind that the doors MUST fit perfectly BEFORE major welding is
set into motion.I suggest small metal screws(or kliko's). You must have perfect gaps at the A&B pillars...

Did you put in one of the made in turkey fuel pumps????? This is one of the things

TR2/3/3A Re: Convertible Top installation instructions

TR2/3/3A Re: steering box seal replacement TR3B

If you do the seal, also do the bushing. The pin that follows the worm gear can be
re-used if you drive it out and turn it 90 degrees to the wear.Make sure the shims on the lower bearings are
    set...

TR2/3/3A Re: compression numbers & smoking engine

The best ever fix for the no valve seal on the intake valve is to install new guides and have
them knurled to make up for wear on the old valve. This is like magic and can easily take the oil...

    TR4/4A Re: TR4 Lifting Eye

The rear lift brk is under the pass side rear head bolt/exhaust stud. It is rare,

  15. TR4/4A Re: TR4 Engine Number doesn't seem to make sense

We have an early tr4 in the shop right now for a blown motor. The block was
ruined but was the earliest I have ever seen, CT112e, likely made the first week of production.
    I hated to scrap it........
