    If yu want weight reduction go with the Aluminum one , if you want optimum cooling go with a Copper one.

    I have seen wire harnesses wrapped in cloth predominantly on original cars, additionally I have seen what I think are after market ones wrapped in blue vinyl

    I have not seen replacement...

    No putting the relay on the left hand shroud support bracket in the engine bay will address that concern.

    No adding components reduces reliability.
