TR2/3/3A Re: OD angle drive engaging the speedo cable

Correct Jim, then follow the foot brake fluid pipe forward through the same large grommet up the fire wall and back into the back of the speedo through the grommet to the left of the battery box.

General TR Re: The RT story video.

That is probably as good as anything David, as you are never likely to take it off maybe drill a small hole and tape a screw into the stanchion just to stop it rotating down. I think you are onto a...

General TR Re: The RT story video.

I think I have put my mirror up before, it mounts in one of the stanchion screw holes and is out of the way of the side screen. They were made by a TR Register Australia member bu I see his add in...

    TR2/3/3A Re: Over drive

That's what I did David, ordered a new one because it would not pull up on the first high amp circuit . When I took it apart I found a loose connection , resoldered it and it works fine. The relay...

    TR2/3/3A Re: Over drive

These photos show how I mounted the relay and where the wires go, when they come out of the tunnel cover they just sit on the floor under the carpet and run up the firewall

TR2/3/3A Re: Speed O not working

    David,

The cable route for right hand drive takes it through the chassis grommet for the brake line then up to the firewall grommet to the right of the battery and for left hand drive the grommet...

TR2/3/3A Re: OD cover plate gasket sealer.

That steel peg in the cover plate should come out if you want to resurface it, or you could try two gaskets.

TR2/3/3A Re: OD cover plate gasket sealer.

David, I found the steel tube that holds the accumulator piston in the cylinder tends to droop if you fit the end plate with the box sitting in its normal upright position. I tend to lay the box on...

My 6 box doesn't have grease nipples for the clutch shaft, Triumph must have relied on oil leaks for lubrication?

    David,

I have seen this problem on another Forum and from memory the problem was with the new shaft, either the taper pin or the locater slot is in the wrong place. Leaving the locater pin out...

TR2/3/3A Re: OMG problem葉he doors are too tight

All food for thought, one thing we tend to forget is how much of our gaps are taken up in the final paint coat, both sides of the hinges pillars door frame and surround and so it goes on.

TR2/3/3A Re: OMG problem葉he doors are too tight

  21. TR2/3/3A Re: Fitting the original tr3 transmission cover over a tr6 overdrive
