    GT6 Re: GT6 / TR6 Rotor Options

I have not yet found an off-the-shelf vented rotor suitable for a GT6. Here in the UK people are re-drilling vented rotors with the right diameter and offset to the correct PCD.
    As already...

TR6 Re: TR 6 Dyno session

Nice little vid, do you have the print out? I'd be interested to see what the power and torque curves look like.
  4. Stag Re: TR6 Engine rebuild in final stage, dyno date 7=22

What's the theory behind using crmoly push rods? keeping the valve train weight down? My GT6 revs quite easily to 7k without any valve bounce, using factory supplied push rods.

TR6 Re: TR6 dual chain sprockets

Yes they will fit, though you will of course need the wider chain tensioner and chain. The timing cover is just the same, so will not need changing.

Spitfire Re: GT6 with Spitfire hood.

You could, but it would require a shorter engine as the hump in the hood is partly there to clear the valve cover. Alternatively, the engine can be moved back by about six inches and that'll give...

Re: timing chain to gear drive?

What's wrong with a timing chain? if you are having problems with them stretching, you could fit a duplex chain, gears and tensioner from a TR6, it's a direct fit.

    Re: Suspension...What the heck?

As Jay suggests, just un-do the nut on the back of the bracket on the frame and the assembly will come off in one piece. The bracket has a notch pressed into it for the head of the bolt to locate...

    Re: Round Britain Reliability Run

No idea on shipping costs, but one of the crew members needs to be a member of Club Triumph, 45GBP to join and about 70GBP per crew member for the event. In our Spitfire we burnt about 300GBP worth...

 not sure what a rental company would think about that. There are a few options, ship your car over for the run, get someone in the UK to buy and store a car for you or find someone who wants...

GT6 Re: radiator options for GT6 MK III

Hi, I think it would be tight to get a 29" wide radiator in a GT6, you have to consider where you are going to position it and whether it will fit between the hood supports. The stock hood prop will...

Re: longer wheel studs need help finding

TR6 Re: Opinions: best way to get 150hp TR6?

150hp 'should' be reasonably easy to get from a TR6 if you bring it up to European spec, though I would advise a EFI system such as Megasquirt instead of Lucas PI for easier tuning.

    By means of an...

Spitfire Re: Stock Right Height of an 80 Spit?

GT6 Re: GT6 Swing Axle to Swing Spring conversion

Megasquirt is a combined ignition and...
