Re: Parts sourcing from the UK (5/18/2020).

Yep, not the best, limited choices by sellers. Having a pretty successful buys in UK for MK1 and comes quicker than US stores as they buy overseas too. I learned to pass the middle man and go...

Re: Parts sourcing from the UK (5/18/2020).

    Re: Get Your Motor Runnin'!

Good driver, smooth, controlled and respectful. Car handles well, a little twitch between asphalt and concrete patches (but what isn't). Sounds good. Like runs like this. Thanks Mickey!
  10. TR2/3/3A Re: Hesitation on acceleration, wants to stall at corners

Lots to consider here. Have carbs been tuned lately, leaks, diaphragms, oil in carbs proper. Choke? Hard start cold. Timing and dwell? Vacuum line to advance/retard. Fuel pump diaphragm, leaks? ...

    TR2/3/3A Re: Aftermarket Sun Visors?

We had the same screens on our 140 Jag, really great in bright sun with sunglasses, and were somehow great help in fog. I don't think they were polarized yet either.

  15. Re: Does anyone still make or sell a quality condenser?

Even the domestic classic cars with condensor ignition complain about the new supposedly China made. Everyone when in a wrecking yard for parts, grabs the old ones that are still in the distributors.

Have you load tested battery. Just because it might be new or couple years old might not have the CCA available. Have you tried with plugs out?
