Actually, I have only wonderful memories of her. Especially when you add the Healey people she loved. She always wanted to be involved with the BJ8. She would help with anything she could like...

    Re: This forum

Michael, please do not think I took offense. I was kind of expressing my self pity. Thank you for the kind words. She was not only my loss but those in the Healey world who knew her, she was there...

    Re: Electric Relay Placement

In my BJ8 there is a open area (like a box) on the inboard side of the firewall that was empty having no purpose. It was large enough to hide a second Lucas dual fuse box and 3 relays mounted on a...

Your email link does not work for me. I found E49 in the boot.
  10. Re: Heater and fan control replacement - any advice?

If you need to remove the cold air and heat knobs. you need to remember they come off by pushing the spring loaded pin at the bottom of each knob.
  11. Re: Heater and fan control replacement - any advice?

If you have a Bj8 you should remove the consul. The heater and wires get in the way so good luck. Take your time and mark all the wires. Its not rocket science. If i were to do it again, I would take...

    Re: Heated Seats

With top down in winter, a cold butt is the least of my problems. Ears, nose, hands are exposed, The seat warms by itself.
  13. Re: Metallic Golden Beige BJ8 at Barrett-Jackson

What I find interesting is that even though the classic car market is down, the are still hot in the TV commercials. More and more each day so why doesn't that stimulate the market.

    Re: Petrol Drains

If you are referring to the copper tubes, they let fuel out and should not let air in. The should be diverted away from the exhaust system through islets mounted to the oil pan.

    Re: New Prank

I did not experience it. It was posted in the Pelican (Berkeley student newspaper) Apparently the wires to the 6 and 9 floor were switched inside the panel (press 6 and you triggered 9).

    Re: New Prank

Eons ago when at Berkley some engineering students "fixed" one of the elevator's buttons, switching the floor six with the floor nine. Then turned the room number 6 upside down reading 9. Kids keys...

Re: Gas cap parts now in tank

Do the baffles run front to back or across the tank? If you remove the rubber filler tube and use the tool Steve just suggested you should be able to fish it out.
