    Re: Honda engine quit

Update. Took car out to mail some letters. Ran it up to red line in low gear. No problems. There is apparently a rev limiter when in neutral so as to avoid blowing up the engine. Won't go over 5K....

    Re: Honda engine quit

In 33F degree weather, Honda started instantly as it always does. I checked the battery before starting. 12.5 volts. Engine started - voltage reads 14.92. Ground connection- ok. Battery cables tight...

    Re: Honda engine quit

I went online and found many, many sites devoted to this problem - apparently very common. Main culprit seems to be the ignition switch. I started the car and wiggled the key - the sure test....

    Re: Almost a killer

I must have struck a chord because when I posted my story on the local message board, I've gotten at least 25-30 approval posts and thank you's. Pedestrian here just got run down and killed yesterday...

    Re: Honda engine quit

Ok - it stalled again, this time with me at the wheel in heavy traffic. Luckily we were on a hill and I was able to coast into the apron of a church driveway and out of harms way. On a slight...

Re: Makin' The Best of a Bad Situation

It's cruel the way carrots and radishes are just yanked out of the ground and sliced into pieces without any thought for their feelings. Vegetables have rights too!

He was facing us. There was no place for him to go. This road is barely wide enough for two cars let alone a jogger. He never should have been walking or jogging in the roadbed after dark. No...

    Re: Camping

Years ago, we went with a friend who had a small RV up to Massachusetts. Arriving at our campsite, it took him over 30 minutes to "level the wheels". Why? Apparently the refrigerator would not work...

    Almost a killer

Driving to a lecture last night on a narrow winding road, as I came around a bend doing about 25-30 mph, two cars were coming towards me, one with bright lights. As they were about to pass, I...

Looking across the Shenandoah Valley to that mountain range beyond. I wonder if there's a road through that other range? I guess West Virginia is on the other side.

    Re: Is this false advertising?

In my earlier Subaru, I was connived into giving my credit card number and of course was renewed at the maximum rate. On this car, I signed up for one year for cash. Now, the year is up and I got a...

The rear end looks a bit like the original Alfa Spider "ossa di sepia". I like the eggcrate grille. This is an awesome car. I wonder how much it cost?

In my wallet, the bills are stacked with larger bills in the back of the wallet and the ones in front. I don't like "surprises". I did notice that tellers give me the "new" Twenties upside down.
