    Where the fender secures to the sill on the bottom edge and also remove the sheet metal screws down the folded door hinge edge . This lets you pull the fender out CAREFULLY to get your arm in .

    I just did my Tri Carb myself .
    I had the machine shop work done by a professional shop and I supplied all the parts and did most of the rebuild myself .
    They installed the valves and springs etc...

    The main thing is you need to determine what parts internally need work .
    A rebuild could be as simple as new rings , deck the block n head regrind the valves and rebuild .

    And if all else fails and you do shear off the studs , no problem the 3M body molding tape used carefully makes an easy job of reusing originals and only you will know they are held on with tape .

    Your missing a piece off the top of the door shut face , thats what the corner piece screws into .
    It extends up to the top of the drain channel area . There will be a gap between the shut face...
