    Need a Type 9

Anyone know where I could find a Ford Type 9 5 speed gear box for a V-6 on this side of the pond? (The 4 cylinder one will not work.) Thanks Grady

Welcome, We are in much the same boat TVR-wise. Running 86 and a barn find 85. All type of conversion have been done and I wish they were written up. Grady

Re: Just purchased an 84 280i from the UK

I didn't mean it was a bad choice. The RHD drive is fine; I was just asking. (Although I haven't been following the market closely, it seems prices are pretty low - in pounds anyway.)

I assume it a 'wrong side' drive. Are you going to covert to LHD? And as mentioned above, for the the trouble why not a V-8? They are giving them away in the UK (or so it seems). Grady

Has anyone replaced the TVR a/c with a Vintage Air evaporator? If so,

  8. Re: Hello! anyone know of good engine conversion info

Jack - Unfortunately a good argument can be made for just buying a Mustang/Camaro/Corvette, etc. - there the tuning goes from fabricating to tweaking.
