TR6 Re: This frame was sectioned

It's like that across the entire frame. However the pics makes it look worse then it is. My concerns are in the inside of the frame. I'll find that out once I get it stripped and stand it up and...

TR6 Re: This frame was sectioned

Yes thanks. I have a good frame paint to go over and I sell a body cavity wax protector that will get sprayed into the frame when all repairs are done. I did my TR250 that way. Tilted it on one...

TR6 Re: This frame was sectioned

TR6 Re: This frame was sectioned

Plans are to strip the frame down and take it to have it dipped. They also do a e-coat. This frame had so much mud and grime you couldn't see the deterioration in the trailing arm cross member. ...

    I also...

Here I am almost a year later and that tells you how far behind I am on this project. Imagine that! But does anyone have a copy of the plans for the wooden rotisserie as the Moss link doesn't work...
  11. General TR Re: This Happened Twice (TR6 tranny in a TR3)

Here is the fix. Took me a while but I think I have Randal to thank. Did the rubber hose insert. Took a few trimming to make it work. Spring goes in first then the hose on top. After assembly...

TR6 Re: Fuel pump rebuild, Part not included

Went to my local parts guy (Team Triumph) to see if Moss had one or if he had a used one. No to the first question and would not brake down a used AC pump. Said customers buy the used ones and he...

Anyone know where to get this filter from. This is the first one I've had that was nylon. Rebuilding the pump for my TR6 and discovered that this screen is all dried up and cracked.
  15. TR6 Re: Newly purchased poor quality timing gear

They did say to send it back for refund. Didn't mention exchange like I though they wood have. Thinking I might use a used one off a 70 that only has 30+k on it.

I purchased this timing gear set on line last fall in a big sale and as you can see it is unusable. The machining on the teeth is very poor and looks like the tooling was not sharp or they took too...

TR6 Re: TR6 engine rebuild. Too tight?

I'm beginning to think that too. I used Creakote on the tappets too and seem to spin much easier. Also in the timing cover where the chain tensioner rides.
