    Supposedly it will fry the unit. Several threads on it, one within the last week or so. I had a Crane unit in two different cars and never had a problem with either.

    If you have a Pertronix ignition review the thread - ‘Left my ignition on for 5 hours’ for what you should do when you are testing with the ignition key on with the engine not running.

    If it was like the Healey with the exhaust on that side it would help keep either the driver/passenger cooler depending on which side the steering wheel was on.
