  1. Re: Why Would Anyone Butcher a Healey with a V8?

So, it appears, was the Maserati, which had the faster "Best Lap" by 2.2 seconds:

    Vette--

The Healey driver's apparent situational unawareness seems not have been lost on the driver of the Maserati who following that tends to keep a safe distance.
  3. Re: Why Would Anyone Butcher a Healey with a V8?

"Being able to outpace a Maserati 300S with your Corvette-engined 100 could have something to do with it."

The relative value of his car versus that of the Chevy-Healey might also have led the...

    Re: Door ding!

Perhaps the only thing worse than a dent made by some non-caring jerk is a self-inflicted wound. I recently achieved one of these while changing out the water pump on my car: I was leaning into the...

    Re: Scuttle shake.

    Jeff--

Sorry you got stung so badly.

As to scuttle shake, some cars have it and some don't. Some folks have luck reducing it by the methods stated in previous posts and some folks learn to...

No offense meant but perhaps the model designation for this car should be a BN-NONE.

    Re: Overdrive Cuts Out when...

    Bob--

I am not sure whether you feel that lack of current/electrical energy might be the source of the problem. The reason I said "long shot" is that I have a hard time envisioning how the...

    Re: Overdrive Cuts Out when...

This may be a longshot but since there is an inverse relationship between voltage and amperage (amperage draw goes up as system voltage goes down and visa versa) perhaps the load of the turn-signal...

    Blue--

You are not the first person reporting difficulty in reaching Delaney. I believe Pete lives in North Carolina where there is a very active chapter of AHCA and perhaps if you contacted...
