    The later TF (along with the TD Mark2) used dual air filters, one on each Carb. (The carbs were also larger, 1-1/2" throat vs the 1-1/4" for the TD. )

    The TD uses two switches for headlights. The key turns on the ignition and the lever which has parking/headlamp positions. there is a second, similar switch for dip and driving lights (and horn) ....

    If you have a banana hole block, and a round hole head, you need to use a banana hole gasket.

    Three other things to check,
    .
    1) From the WSM. The sliding Joint is always at the Gear Box end.
    2) The U-Joints are in line.
    3) If 1 and 2 are OK, Rotate the input joint 180 degrees.

    A vibration in that RPM range is common.
    Usually not associated with the driveshaft.
    As I remember it may be the "Roundness" of the front tires.
    Check that out first.
    Also check the tightness...
