    Re: Bugeye oil pan help

Cut long so they will compress and use a good gasket sealer/maker. Verify that the oil pan is flat and the bolt holes are not ‘puckered’. Attach the gasket to the oil pan with a gasket maker like...

    TR4/4A Re: A arm orientation

Front end is now together and on the bench with the other completed components awaiting installation. The last issue was the wrong castle nuts which were locking up the trunnions.

Although this says TR4A, the suspension is TR6 and I understand that there痴 not much difference. I知 rebuilding the front and rear suspension with poly bushings, new trunnions, all new hardware,...

  11. TR4/4A Re: Tackling the biggest problem with my TR4A.... Frame Damage :(

That would be an extensive repair to make right and I would use a new frame. Start looking for a good one, once you find one add all the strengthening gussets and brackets, paint it and plan on a...

TR4/4A Re: SU HS6 throttle spindle size

I’m no expert by any means and my personal approach has always been to buy the rebuild kit and install the throttle shafts first to get a feel for any possible carb body wear. You’ll need the kits...

TR4/4A Re: SU HS6 throttle spindle size

I always test the shaft to bushing/carb fit by putting the unworn portion of the shaft into the carb and ‘feeling’ if it’s loose or not. I use this method on HS2s, 4s, 6s and 8s and it works well....
