    Re: Rule Britannia...

As an ex-Merchant Navy officer, I hate the look of many of these cruise ships. I'd make an exception for QM2, she looks like a ship, and besides we did a trip on her a few year s ago.
    For me, the...

Re: Opinion on spark plug color

The Lodge plug is from my Austin Seven. Lodge Sintox plugs were popular at one time back in U.K., especially for racing.
They are still available, though they haven't been made for 50 years or so.

Re: Do you recognize this wheel?

If you want to know if your wheels are magnesium, shave a tiny sliver from somewhere invisible and try to light it. You'll soon know!

Re: Do you recognize this wheel?

I think they might be Aluminium Minilites, made by Tech Del, the original maker.
I had magnesium Minilites on my car, and remember Tech Del coming out with these, or something very similar, as a...

    Re: Ford vs. Ferrari

I thought it a good tale, good entertainment, and has done a lot for the memory of Ken Miles, which is a very good thing.

The stupid gearchange on the Mulsanne was jarring though.

Re: Best looking cars of all time

Any such list that doesn't include the Lotus Elite type 14 is desperately lacking!

BTW, Bugattis type 57 had many body styles. Which do you mean? Any or all? Talbot Lagos likewise.

TR2/3/3A Re: Anyone running NGK spark plugs?

No, the 6s are the 6s and the 5s are the 5s. They have slightly different specifications. All manufacturers have plugs with different heat ranges, you moved from one range to another.

TR2/3/3A Re: Anyone running NGK spark plugs?

The 6 is a harder plug than the 5, that is it runs a bit colder and is marginally less tolerant of contamination, like oil.
Why did you change to 6?
