    Thanks Steve. It's the top piece in the attached pic. Can't be SS. Too rusty. Mine is a BJ7. That Moss diagram doesn't look right for my car.

    Have spent many dollars redoing fuel tank. Two taps on bottom (left and right) with baffles. What else can you do there?

    Probably a zinc-plated screw in the original. Top cowl is stainless,
