    Traditional flashers are thermal/current actuated switches. Because of that, if you have the wrong light bulbs installed (too many or too few Watts)

    Scuttle shake can also be cause by rear brake drums out of balance, tires out of round( you can balance a out of round tire, but it will not roll true).

    I was running it with pressures of 25 front and 27 rear and had scuttle shake
