    Normally I just get mild steel 18ga for repair panels and patches. I've got some longer narrow pieces but nothing appropriate for a seat bottom.

    The ZDDP issue has to do with lubricating flat tappet cams. It causes problems with modern catalytic converters (IIRC). These issues do not obtain inside
