After a 10 year undertaking I have nearly completed a frame up restoration of a 1968 TR 250. The car is not intended to be concours rather a fun car so the engine has been modified a bit 0.030 off the bottom of the head to raise compression along with porting and polishing along with a fairly aggressice cam and a set of Webbers. I am buttoning up the front end of the engine and I am looking at the single row timing chain and sprockets.

  2. Installing new window door seals on 1973 Triumph TR6

I purchased a 1973 Triumph TR6, it needed a complete interior kit. I purchased one including carpet, panels, seats and window door seals and caps. Before putting it back into the hub, it worked on both sides when I moved the self cancelling lug past the respective mechanisms. Could it be the positioning of the disc which is secured by the three grub screws on the steering hub causing this to happen?

  5. Ist place Trophy and Trip around the Track

Entered 59Diamond in the Coronado Speerfest and Car Show. Got a 1st place trophy in my class and got to take a victory lap around the 11/2 mile track and pass in front of the grand stand tooting my horn in front of my adoring fans. Its been a great year so far with 4 Trophies and I might get to be in the local Bonitafest Parade on Saturday, with my 5 year old Grandson riding shotgun and waving to the crowd. This totally makes up for the fact that the San Diego Charges gave away another game. I ...
