  4. TR2 manifold question

Hi All. Ive been restoring a TR2 for some time now. Learning as I go. I have both manifolds restored and ready to install. Am I missing some local TR knowledge? Are bolts an easier option? Or was it a lazy option by the previous owner?
Any help would be great appreciated.
