I just inherited a set of WW2 era negatives through a friend, all seem to have been taken in Washington, DC... There are about 100 negatives in total, mostly portraits of people... So far I've scanned two photos, looking forward to working through the rest of them...

Two quick samplers

A portrait...

And get really impressed by the full-size scan... https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8352/8294954943_1a1804416a_o.jpg

Not a portrait, but a very neat photo, check out the '41 Caddy convertible! And the blimp...

And now for full-size scan... https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8351/8295876482_a4c5325b7b_o.jpg

Planning to work through a few more of the negatives tonight, and then slowly work through all of them at some point...

Those are fantastic! Lucky guy to inherit such a thing - from a relative?

Say, what equipment do you use for scanning large-scale photos and negatives? Those that won't fit on the home-style letter-size scanner?

Thanks.

I use an Epson V600 scanner, flat bed for prints (what I mostly use), but can handle slides and negatives up to medium format size... https://www.imaging-resource.com/SCAN/V600/V600.HTM
