So I got an email the other day and thought it was spam. It was. When I was scrolling to the bottom to find the 'unsubscribe' link (it was from a company that I've bought stuff from, not a random mailing list) I saw they were running a promotion. They offered $10,000 for a project car that had to be in progress now.

If you have a second (no login required), could you vote for my project (you can vote daily) and help me get my Lotus going?

Here's the link: https://bit.ly/10KQrW1

For more information on the car and the project..

I say we all vote for my Javelin. :p

Which, when you think about it, isn't a bad idea.

Who wouldn't be in favor of a black musclecar that can road race, run 12's and do 160 MPH?!

Entering the second week, and I could use all the votes I can get. I do appreciate all the support. To show the appreciation, I'm going to run a sponsor graphic on the car / website!

What is it with watches? The Corvette forum I frequent gets all about watches. The only thing that gets more responses is gun posts.
I have a watch and I own guns, but they're all strictly functional. :encouragement:

I consider 'em tools as well. No bling here.

Omega's are functional not blingy, they aren't Rolexs. Most guns I think are owned on this site are going to be function over looks also I know mine are.

DrEntropy

I kinda think the: "Form follows function" adage applies.

All my weapons are the same. Old design, same ammunition in the same magazines, fits any weapon to hand. Keeps everything simple. They just work.

...and here we are, doin' exactly what Russ mentioned. Gah.
