I was told TR and it was thrown in on a (now departed) TR4a, but this looks more like a Healey frame to my eyes.

Definately not a TR4A frame, the latches are wrong. That is the kind used (I think) on the TR6, and also on the Wedge.

I found these pictures of the TR6 frame, looks like it could be that:

TR6 Frame. It can be used on a TR4A if you change the windshield frame. I've done it.

Tom- Can you compare it to your 6?

I would Don, but the TR6 is out at the hanger.

Marv - thanks for the info. Is it just the openings where the top latches that are different, or the whole frame, or do the correct openings pre-req the whole frame?

Thanks guys - turns out I have a TR4a in the garage (who knew) and it would exactly as Marv said require swapping out the whole windshield frame.

Thanks again.

Looks like a 6 frame to me too. I've got 2 6 frames and 1 4a frame in the side yard if you want to reduce the blight in my yard a bit (and also pick up that Jag undertray template)

Hi Rich - I'll take a spare 4A frame off your hands to do my part. I'll ping you - actually in town today/tonight as you have probably figured out.
